INTRODUCTION

The Canadian Diving Coaches Association (CDCA) is a valuable asset in the Diving Canada Community. In order to fully maximize its potential for operating, a new set of goals and objectives have been developed. Along with this, a consistent application of the vision, mission and core values of the Association must be defined and consistently applied when doing business.

The CDCA is made up of Diving Canada Coaches who inspire, encourage and advocate the sport of Diving both internally in the Diving Canada community as well as the external agencies and groups that support Canadian sport at large.

Membership is made up of individuals who are current Registered Diving Coaches in good standing with Diving Canada.

These coaches, as advocates of the sport of diving and as leaders within the diving community shall be role models.

The Goal to win should not be “win at all costs”, but rather to “provide the information, support and tools to the coaching community to compete with passion, integrity and consistent excellence keeping the best interests of the athletes as always priority number one.
