Payment policies
Payment for the course is due in advance. A fee will be included for correction of the workbooks.
Preliminary workbook will be sent by once payment is received.
Binders and Coaches Workbook will be provided at the course.
Coaches Workbook to be completed following the course are to be submitted within one month of the clinic. Workbook to be submitted to the Evaluator identified by the Learning Facilitator (the Learning Facilitator cannot also be the Evaluator).
Corrections must be done by the Evaluator.
All coaches are responsible to keep accurate records of all work submitted.
A minimum of six and maximum 10 participants will be accepted into the course. Should more than 10 people wish to participate, then a second facilitator must be added.
Training and certification process and course costs
Training at clinics can be held over either (1) 2 weekends (Friday-Sunday and Saturday-Sunday), or (2) 4 days (Thursday-Sunday)
All participants must be evaluated on specified aspects of the course prior to certification being granted.
Credits towards certification can be granted for specific evaluation requirements. Certification in the Competition-Introduction context is achieved once all evaluation requirements have been successfully completed.
Evaluation must be done by an independent diving evaluator. The Learning Facilitator giving the clinic cannot also be the evaluator.
Evaluation can take up to one year.
Evaluation includes some work done at the clinic, completion and passing of a workbook following the clinic, mentoring, visit by an evaluator at a practice, and secret evaluation at a competition.
