20 hours, Coach Workbook

Learning Outcomes
  1. Make Ethical Decisions - CAC web evaluation
    - Make ethical decisions
  2. Plan a Practice
    - Organize a series of lesson activities into a plan that enhances the learning or one or more skills
    - Design an Emergency Action Plan
  3. Provide Support to Athletes in Training
    - Implement an appropriately structured and organized lesson
    - Make interventions that promote learning
    - Ensure that the lesson environment is safe
  4. Analyze Performance
    - Design a multi-week session or unit plan to maximize learning
    - Instructor detects and corrects performance

Appeals
Appeals committee will include 3 people:
  • 1 Master Learning Facilitator / Evaluator
  • Coaching Certification Committee member
  • Independent LF or Evaluator
Coach will be responsible for any costs incurred to review the appeal

Learn to Dive instruction is in the process of being converted to the new NCCP, in the Instructor-Beginner context. Diving Plongeon Canada has not yet completed the context approval process.
