We have discussed plans to recruit clubs in Woodstock, Moncton, and Edmunston, but are posed with the problem of lack of qualified coaches. To help solve the problem of both club and coach development, we plan to offer a training camp for our clubs, as well as an instructor course for LTD instructors and Pre-competitive Coaches. As well, we are looking into the possibility of offering the sport of diving as an extracurricular activity for junior high schools in Fredericton, as a pilot program. This would add interest into the sport, and increase our numbers, giving us a more competitive edge. We have formed a Technical Development Committee, consisting of our VP Technical, as well as coaches/athletes from both Fredericton and Saint John Diving Clubs. This committee will focus specifically on athlete, coach, and officials development within our province. STATE OF DIVING IN THE PROVINCE The New Brunswick Diving Association is down to two clubs, with a decrease in numbers, despite recruiting efforts by all. We continue to struggle with the need for qualified, long term coaches, as well as interested divers. We are struggling on an Executive level as well, as we have not been able to fill the positions of President or VP- Administration. Recruitment efforts are being made, but so far no interest has been shown. PROGRAMING PRIORITIES Our priorities remain the same as last year, with two specific additions: Promoting the sport of diving with the goal of increasing interest in the sport. Developing our new divers to a level where they can compete provincially and nationally. Developing qualified coaches with a long-term commitment to diving. Developing qualified officials to support meets in Atlantic Canada. Sending our divers to major meets. Having our two clubs work together, to become more competitive. FUTURE PLANS The immediate plans for NBDA is to survive! And our future plans consist of: Development of qualified coaches Development of clubs in Moncton, Woodstock, and Edmundston Recruitment of individuals for our Executive Committee Increasing our volunteer base Increasing diving in New Brunswick Submitted by: Kristie Moase AGM 2005 AGA November 18-20 Novembre Report/Rapport AGM 2005 AGA November 18-20 Novembre Report/Rapport %&'(),FGH% E ʰqWC4(4h+DWCJOJQJaJhqh3CJOJQJaJ'hqhG CJOJQJ]aJmH sH 3hqhG 56>*CJOJQJ\]aJmH sH 0hqhG 56CJOJQJ\]aJmH sH $hqhqCJOJQJaJmH sH $hqhG CJOJQJaJmH sH 3jh&5>*CJOJQJU\aJmHnHuhqhqCJOJQJhCJOJQJhqCJOJQJ hG CJhqhfCJOJQJaJ&()GHY Z & ' 2 3 S T $h]ha$gdq$ & F h%h^ha$gd&$ h$hhdh]h^ha$gdq$ h$hh]h^ha$gdq$ $ 0]0^a$gdq $ !a$gdq]K 2 3 S T ɼӘhUI:hqhfCJOJQJaJhqCJOJQJaJ$hqhG CJOJQJaJmH sH -hqhG 5>*CJOJQJ\aJmH sH 0hqhf56>*CJOJQJ\aJmH sH 'h&5>*CJOJQJ\aJmH sH hqh3CJOJQJ\aJh&CJOJQJ\aJh&hG 5>*hqhG CJOJQJaJhqh3CJOJQJaJhqh\CJOJQJaJT 4 6 hV $ & F %h^ha$gdq$ & F h%a$gdq $ h%a$gdq$ & F h%h^ha$gdq $ !%a$gdq$ %Ph]ha$gdq $h]ha$gdq ./KLNOQRTUWXt|Ƿxdxd[WxdxdNJh{h(hqCJhqh(hqCJ'h*qh(6CJOJQJaJmH sH h*qh(6CJOJQJaJjh(CJUmHnHuhBWjhBWUh\h\5mH sH hG 56hqh3CJOJQJ\aJ"hqhG 5CJOJQJ\aJ%hqhG 5>*CJOJQJ\aJ%hqhf5>*CJOJQJ\aJ Z{ ./=KMNPQSTVW !%gd(^$ & F h%h]ha$gdq$ h%hhdh]h^ha$gdq^h\h\5mH sH hBW9 0&P1h:pq/ =!"#$% @@@ NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH DA@D Default Paragraph FontVi@V Table Normal :V 44 la (k@(No List 4B@4 Body Text5\6>@6 Title$a$ 5CJ\6U@6 Hyperlink >*B*phbC@"b Body Text Indent h$ h^h6CJ]mH sH 4@24 Header !4 @B4 Footer !JP@RJ Body Text 2$a$6CJ]mH sH hR@bh Body Text Indent 2 h%h^h56\]mH sH HT@rH Block Text %hh]h^hPS@P Body Text Indent 3 %h^hJQ@J Body Text 3$ h%dha$ $&()GHYZ&'23ST46hV Z{ . / = K M N P Q S T V W 0000000000000 000000 000 0 0 0 0 0 00 000 0 0 0 0 0000@0I00@0I00@0I00@0I00@0@0@0@0I00&()GHYZ&'23ST46hV 0000000000000 000000 000 0 0 0 0 0 00 0K0 CCz} T OR$칍Ѹ#^,PNR$ 5]HQ5R$YB`hDѻR$ ib҅x}kEA@ ( HB C DB S ?
