Cam has been diving since the age of nine and has quickly progressed over the years. Cam’s international highlight was in 2004 when he was a finalist on 1M at the FINA World Junior Championships.
Cam is a great all round athlete. He competed in short track speed skating and, at the age of 8, he won the silver medal at the junior national championships. Speed skating is a family affair for the McLean’s as Cam’s father also competed in the sport and his brother, Matt, trains at the Olympic Oval in Calgary.
The Commonwealth Games marked his first international competition at the senior level. Cam is looking forward to increasing his experience on the international stage.
