In the winter of 2004, thoughts of retirement were creeping into Mandy Moran’s mind. But after finishing third on 1 m and fourth on 3 m at the Winter Senior National Championships, Mandy decided to rethink her status.
Since that turning point, she has won five medals at the Senior National Championships. 2009 has been especially good for the 26 year-old from Thunder Bay. In front of her hometown crowd in Calgary, Mandy Moran captured her very first national title on 3 m at the Winter Senior National Championships. Paired with her Dive Calgary teammate, Hailey Casper, Mandy also earned her first international medal on 3 m synchro at the Spanish Grand Prix.
Prior to her move to Calgary, Mandy spent four years pursuing her studies at the University of Arkansas. After her athletic career, Mandy hopes to work in sport marketing while remaining active in the diving community.
