Eric Sehn accidentally discovered diving as a young boy. His mother intended to sign him up for a “Swim Gym” program so that he could be with his friends but accidentally enrolled him in a diving class. This oversight has been paying dividends for the Edmonton native ever since.

Having just recently completed his collegiate career at Texas A&M, Eric became the most decorated Aggie in the school’s history with 11 Big 12 titles. This accomplishment is not limited to diving, but stretches across all the varsity sports at Texas A&M.

The 24-year old has represented Canada at numerous FINA Grand Prix events and more notably at the 2005 and 2007 FISU Games and 2006 FINA World Cup.

In 2010, Eric was the busiest Canadian diver at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. Eric competed in 4 of 5 events, capturing three (3) top six finishes.

2011 was a successful year domestically for Eric Sehn. At national events, he went on to win two national titles. At the FINA World Aquatic Championships in Shanghai, Eric paired with Kevin Geyson to place 8 th on 10 m synchro. This result gained the pair an invitation to compete on the prestigious FINA World Series in 2012.

Eric closed out the 2011 season by representing Canada at three events at the Pan American Games. He teamed with partner Kevin Geyson to win bronze on 10-metre synchro and the duo is hoping to represent Canada at next summer’s 2012 London Olympics.
