At the Winter Nationals, Carol Ann won Gold on 10-meter synchro and placed 4th on the 10-meter tower. On the FINA Grand Prix circuit, Carol-Ann qualified for two 10-meter finals in Russia (6th) and the U.S.A (4th). At the U.S.A Grand Prix she also narrowly missed the podium with a 4th place finish on 10-meter synchro.

Carol Ann concluded her domestic season on a strong note by winning two silvers and a bronze medal at the Summer Nationals and Commonwealth Games trials. With these results she qualified to compete at her very first Commonwealth Games in 2010.

Carol-Ann started off the 2011 season in fine form, winning her first individual senior national title. In pairing with her sister, Pamela, the Wares won three international medals on the FINA Grand Prix, including an impressive gold at the USA Grand Prix.

Carol-Ann and her sister Pamela were double medalists at the 2011 Summer National Championships, taking home silver on 10-metre and bronze on 3-metre.
