OTTAWA – Diving Canada is pleased to announce its team that will represent Canada at the Russian FINA Grand Prix scheduled this weekend, March 3rd to 6th in Moscow.
Aaron Dziver (CAMO), Tommy McLeod (Boardworks), and Trevor Palmatier (ESPDC) are the coaches accompanying the team to Russia. Mark Fromson of Vancouver has been appointed as the Canadian judge for the event. Dr Stephanie Anisko of Toronto , Ontario , is traveling with the team and will serve as the chiropractor and physiotherapist.
About the FINA Grand Prix
Held since 1995, the FINA Grand Prix is similar in format to the World Cups in alpine skiing and speed skating. This season there are six stops, including the Canada Cup from April 29-May 2 in Montreal, Quebec.
This is the second of six events on the FINA Grand Prix circuit for 2010. Canada’s current medal tally for this season sits at 1 (1 Bronze) .
