Ware sisters 10 th on three-metre synchro at diving Grand Prix

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Pamela Ware and Carol-Ann Ware of Montreal placed 10 th on Sunday on women’s three-metre to conclude the U.S., Grand Prix diving competition. The meet was also the fourth stop on the FINA Grand Prix circuit.

Tania Cagnotto and Francesca Dallape of Italy won the gold medal with 313.50 points. Han Wang and Lin Qu of China were second at 305.10 and Kelci Bryant and Abby Johnston of the U.S., third at 303.60.

On Saturday, the Ware sisters took fourth place in the 10-metre synchro event missing a medal by less than four points. Carol-Ann Ware was also fourth on the individual tower. Those were Canada’s two best results here this weekend.

The next major event for Canadian divers is the season’s biggest competition, the FINA World Cup June 2-6 in Changzhou, China.
